Qube Wire Grows in South East Asia

Ian Riches joins Qube’s team for Digital Distribution

Qube Cinema is proud to announce the appointment of Ian Riches to further develop Qube Wire’s digital distribution business in South East Asia. Qube Wire currently provides distribution services in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. Both distributors and exhibitors are requesting content and KDM delivery via Qube Wire in more countries across the region.
 
Ian Riches has prolific experience in the cinema industry, particularly the South East Asian market. This expertise will help Qube Wire successfully expand our electronic delivery network across the region.
 
Ian comes to Qube after a successful career in the UK with AMC/UCI and UCI (now United) Cinemas, Japan. Additionally, he spent several years in Singapore helping expand Village Roadshow’s exhibition partnerships in Malaysia (TGV), Thailand (EGV) and India (PVR). Subsequently, with Loews Cineplex he was involved in ventures in Korea and Vietnam. Ian was a founding member of Megastar (now CGV) Vietnam. More recently, he has served as the Managing Director of Golden Duck’s Malaysia office and as director of projects for Cinepolis Indonesia.
